2013 Events

Mar 29-May 24th, 6:00-8:30PM - Bocce Ball League
We will be playing every Friday night from 6PM to 8:30PM and the league will be limited to 8 teams (4 players per team). At the end of the league, the top 4 teams will play in a single elimination play-off to determine the champions. At least 2 members of the team must be present to play or the team forfeits that game. The winning team will win a case of Fenton Herriott wines. Bottles of wine are available to purchase during the league play. It is potluck style, so bring some food to share if you like.

April 13th-14th and April 20th-21nd, 11-5PM - Passport Weekend
Two glorious spring weekends each year, 32 El Dorado wineries host the region’s annual Passport wine and food event. Passport Weekends feature plenty of luscious wine and food pairings, barrel tastings, enjoyable art and music, and fun-loving participants. Visit El Dorado Winery Assoc for more details.

May 4th, 12-2PM - Cooking Demonstration in Pavilion
Join us for an exquisite cooking demonstration held out in the pavilion. Chef Melissa Arcona of Cuppa Coffee & More will be showing off her skills and providing tasty menu items for those attending. It’s education and lunch all in one – with wine.

May 5th, 11-5PM - Cinco de Wino
Please join us for a fun day celebrating Cinco de Mayo. We will be serving taquitos and a cream cheese block with salsa – the event is free. Receive an additional 10% off your 2 case purchase for this day only!!

May 18th, 6:00-8PM - Winemaker Dinner
Our catered event has always been sold out! This is a multi-course fine dining experience with luscious food & wine pairings held out in the pavilion next to the vineyards in the pavillion. Please call for menu specifics.

June 15th-16th, 12:00-4PM - Bottle Your Own Wine
You will be bottling a red blend that will knock your socks off!! Your job is to fill the bottle, label, insert cork, and adding a capsule down in the cellar with one of our staff members. This is really a fun event. Since you'll be doing the botling - you save a lot of money when purchasing this incredible wine.
Cost: Free!

June 22nd, 6:00-8:30PM - Music in the vineyards featuring the 3G's
Enjoy a relaxing and fun filled evening with live music played by local talent in the pavilion. Bring a picnic and enjoy the music amongst the vineyards. There is always Bocce Ball as you are swining to the music.
Cost: Free!

July 13th, 12:00-4PM - Summer Barbeque
Scrumptious summer fare cooked over the barbeque. Lots of choices from grilled hamburgers to checken and hot dogs for the kids, all servered with delicious potato salad.
Cost: $10, $5 for Wine Club Members.

July 27th, 1:00-4PM - Carson Road Music Festival
This is the third and final event for the Carson Raod Wineries. Each of the wineries will feature musical acts to compliment your wine tasting experience. Bring a picnic and enjoy the music amongst the vineyards There is Bocce Ball as you are swining to the music.

August 10th-11th, 11:00-5PM - Sangria Weekend
We will be serving a magnificent Sangria built with our own Fenton Herriott wine, juices, and sliced fruit. Always refresshing and cool - this is the answer to a hot summer weekend. Bring up a picnic lunch and lounge out on the lawn with a glass of Sangria.
Cost: $5, Free to Wine Club Members.

August 24th, 5:30-8:PM - Hawaiian Luau
Help us celebrate the summer and upcoming harvest Hawaiin style! Come join us after you've spent a wonderful day of wine tasting for a relaxing Hawaiin Luau. We'll have plenty of Hawaiin style food along with Hawaiin music and dancers to entertain you. In addition, we'll supply each table of 8 with 2 bottles of wine of the table's choice.
